Jolie Bensen and Sarah Elizabeth Dewey are not only two incredibly inspiring designers, but they also just so happen to have quite a bit in common with me. Not only did Sarah and I intern at BCBG Max Azria headquarters, but all of us were born and raised in the south! The ambitious ladies met while Sarah Elizabeth was interning for Jolie Bensen at BCBG and now the talented duo have combined their eye for style to create a southern chic clothing line that I can't get enough of. I recently received this two tone skirt from the New Orleans natives and instantly started styling it with the pastel pieces that are quickly taking over my wardrobe. To showcase my new skirt I paired it with a pink Frenchi tank and white Gibson blazer and I accessorized my look with my favorite pair of House of Harlow 1960 sunnies and my new Torregrossa handbag, which you may remember seeing here. Because no outfit is complete without a little extra fash, I stacked on a slew of accessories including my blush beaded bracelet by Glam Rok. It's outfits like this that remind me why I simply can't get enough of spring. In a world where so many of the same brands dominate our TV's and magazines, it's nice to find new brands like Jolie and Elizabeth who offer us a refreshing take on classic styles. Their designs are bright, flirty, and feature conservative fits with the perfect amount of southern flare.
